HOW IT WORKS
Step 1 – Take Intro to Barbering. Bring your tools and a model. You'll cut a simple fade or taper so we can see where your skills are.
Step 2 – Practice until you're ready. Some students are ready right away, others practice for a few months. Your re-evaluation haircut shows us when you're ready. Need more help? Our Intermediate class gives you 1-on-1 training.
Step 3 – Start the barber permit program. 130 hours of theory and hands-on training, then you test for your license.
The Intro class helps determine your placement and when you're ready to start the barber permit program.
WHAT IT COSTS
Barber permit program: $2,500, paid in full before your start date.
Includes the $1,500 non-refundable enrollment fee.
You only pay once you're approved as ready.

What do I bring to Intro?
Clippers, trimmers, guards, blow dryer, spray bottle, and a model with clean, dry hair and no product.
What tools do I need for the program?

How long is the program?
130 hours, up to 40 hours per week – most students finish in 30–40 days.
Is there an age requirement?
No minimum age. Students under 18 need a parent present or pre-approval.
Where do I go?
328 E 800 S, Orem. Enter through the east door, under the Lavish by Minor Details sign. Park anywhere in the lot.
