Reserve Your Seat in the Intro to Barbering Class

Ready to start your journey towards becoming a licensed barber in Utah? The first step is to reserve your seat in our Intro to Barbering class.

In this hands-on, 2-hour class, you'll learn the fundamentals of barbering, get a feel for the tools of the trade, and experience what it's like to work in a professional shop. It's the perfect way to explore barbering as a hobby or a career.

What to Expect

  • Basic clipper techniques and tool handling

  • Foundational haircutting principles

  • Sanitation and hygiene practices

  • Shop etiquette and client interaction

What to Bring

  • Clippers (corded or cordless)

  • Clipper guards

  • Trimmer or edger

  • Shears

  • Comb

​

We have a limited number of tool kits available for those who don't have their own, but to ensure the best learning experience, we recommend bringing your own tools if possible.

​

Class Details

  • Duration: 2 hours

  • Location: Lavish by Minor Details at 328 E 800 S, Orem, UT 84097

  • Tuition: $250

  • Date: Class is held the last Wednesday of every month, 6:00–8:00pm. Please check with the educator to confirm availability

Please note: We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you need to cancel or reschedule your class, please inform us at least 24 hours prior to the start of the class to avoid a cancellation fee. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the class will incur a $50 fee.
